The Frederick County Beekeeping Association (FCBA) is an organization of current and future beekeepers in the Frederick County, Maryland area. Our mission is to provide support and information to each other, to educate the public and to advocate for practice of responsible beekeeping in the larger community.

If you are a Frederick County-area beekeeper or if you have an interest in learning about beekeeping, please join us at our monthly FCBA meetings.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 PM. The club uses a combination of in-person and Zoom meetings, depending on speaker availability. In-person meetings are held at Walkersville United Methodist Church, 22 Main Street, Walkersville MD 21793.
Members should monitor the club email announcements for meeting notices. Non-members can send an email to info@frederickbees.org for more information regarding meeting location and time. DO NOT just show up expecting there to be an in-person meeting as we often meet via ZOOM. Email us at info@frederickbees.org if you need last-minute information regarding the meeting location.
Alternatively, you are welcome to join the FCBA ($10) in order to receive not only regular meeting announcements but also beekeeping tips, suggestions, Q&A and other helpful advice. Members receive email notifications of all upcoming club meetings and activities via our Google Groups email distribution list.
